Multiselect of Tests then Delete closes the Project
I'm running SoapUI 5.2.1 Build Date: 20151002-1138 on Ubuntu. When I multiselected multiple tests and hit the delete button, the project closed and was removed from the list of projects. When I went back in, it the tests weren't deleted.743Views0likes1CommentContent-Type
I submitted a form-data Post and for the form part I see: Content-Type: image/jpeg; name=file.jpg ... Content-Disposition: form-data; name="file"; filename="file.jpg" Why is the name element and value populated in the Content-Type? When I run a similar command with curl, only the Content-Disposition "name" and "filename" are populated. By the way, when I try to paste into this window, I keep getting a popup asking me to use Ctrl-v, but that's what I did. I also right clicked and hit "Paste". I'm using IE 11 on Windows XP.1.2KViews0likes0CommentsHttpHostConnectException: Connection to http://myserver.com refused
I'm getting these connection timeouts using the latest maintenance version of SoapUI (not Pro). I tried changing the preferences HTTP settings timeout value to a really high number, but it doesn't seem to be using that value. I also set it to zero and got the same results. I'm using the latest maintence version of SoapUI (not pro). if I submit a small SOAP message, it works. When I submit a large message I get a timeout. I tried changing the preferences, HTTP settings, socket timeout to a really large number (x10) but it doesn't seem to actually increase the time it takes to actually get the timeout message. I tried setting it to 0 and get the same result. How can I can I create a REST mock? I created a REST project, and then clicked on Generate Mock, but I'm not able to generate a New Mock Operation (No unique operations in mock project). I also can't change the port or set the response.11 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.1KViews0likes1CommentRe: Content-Transfer-Encoding: binary
Does this only work on the Pro version? I tried adding a Groovy script before the HTTP Test Request step and also tried moving it to afterwards and I still get that line in the request. Also, how can I add "Content-Type: application/xml" below "Content-Disposition"? When that didn't work, as a workaround I tried post all the actual characters for the body including the form parts and manually added the "Content-Type". It seems that soapUI parses the request body based on the media type in the drop down. My content ended up having the '\r's removed. It would be useful to have an option to paste in raw data so there is no parsing (at least for the body, maybe for headers as well).3.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Mocks / Mock Service Runner
2) When exporting a mock project to a war file, do you have to specify the absolute URL, or can you leave it blank or specify the relative URL? I haven't had any luck with getting the war file to work in WebLogic. Are you talking about the "MockService Endpoint" parameter? Yes. It turns out that no matter what I put in that field, the context path created is the name of the WAR that was specified. The location specified also seems to be ignored. Also, the "WEB-INF" directory generated is missing the "W". These appear to me to be bugs. Even after correcting for these issues, I still can't get the WAR to work. I see the WebUI and the WSDL in the browser, but the mock itself doesn't return any data, along with a 200 HTTP Status Code. 3) Is there a way to log the incoming HTTP headers to the mocks? I see this for the submitted HTTP requests in the test cases, but not for the incoming requests to a mock. when using the war, see http://www.soapui.org/Service-Mocking/d ... files.html (enable webui) in soapui gui, the mockservice runner windows have a message log area (on the bottom), for each request, you have a line in this area. Double click on it, it will open a new "Message viewer" window that has 3 tabs: request, response and properties. On the bottom of the request tab, you have an "Headers" tab Ok, Is there a way to log these hearders when not running a war (Just the GUI or the mock service runner?)12 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.7KViews0likes0CommentsMocks / Mock Service Runner
Hello, I have the following questions about mocks and the mock service runner: 1) Is it possible to have the mock service runner start multiple project mocks from a single command, or you have to submit separate command/create more than one soapUI background process? 2) When exporting a mock project to a war file, do you have to specify the absolute URL, or can you leave it blank or specify the relative URL? I haven't had any luck with getting the war file to work in WebLogic. 3) Is there a way to log the incoming HTTP headers to the mocks?
