“SoapUI 5.6.0 Installer.app can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software"
When I try to install SoapUI v5.6 on MacOS 10.15.7, I get this error message: “SoapUI 5.6.0 Installer.app” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information. Is there any workaround? Thanks.Solved6.5KViews0likes1CommentRe: big responses
If you just enter a filename, SoapUI writes the file to a location like this: /Applications/ReadyAPI-2.5.0.app/Contents/java/app/bin/ You can use e.g."${projectDir}/my_file.txt" to get it stored in the project directory instead.6 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions3.2KViews0likes0CommentsAbility to add a "Notes" test step
I would like to be able to add a test step that just holds text notes. It wouldn't get executed, it would just be a place to record comments. Currently, I use a Groovy Script test step and comment everything out. That works but it would be nice to have a cleaner way. (I could use the description for a test case, but I never see those descriptions unless I think to go and look for them.) Thanks!1.8KViews2likes2CommentsRe: SoapUI Pro 5.1.2 hangs on Mac OS X 10.8.5
The steps on http://www.bencode.net/blog/2015/01/25/soapui-freezing-osx/ worked for me (on OS X 10.10.3): Start ‘Activity Monitor’ and Force Kill your dead soapUI process. [Or use Command-Option-Escape to force quit it.] In Finder, /Applications/SmartBear/soapUI-5.0.0.app > Show Package Contents. Edit /Applications/SmartBear/soapUI-5.0.0.app/Contents/java/app/bin/soapui.sh. Uncomment this line# JAVA_OPTS="$JAVA_OPTS -Dsoapui.browser.disabled=true". [In other words, remove the "#" to stop it being a comment.] Edit /Applications/SmartBear/soapUI-5.0.0.app/Contents/vmoptions.txt. Add -Dsoapui.browser.disabled=true. Start soapUI. [In those paths, change soapUI-5.0.0 to match your version. For me it is soapUI-5.1.3.] Hope this helps.10 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions31KViews7likes5Comments
