Migrate Sentinel HASP from crashed physical PC to new physical PC

Hello Community,

My post has some relation to the archived:

The PC we run Sentinel HASP for our Testcomplete and Testexecute licenses has crashed. We tried to migrate to a Vm with no success. Since then, I have opened a support case. However, I would like to ask the community if someone has encountered the same issue and what was the course of action taken. What process should be followed to migrate Sentinel from the defect physical to a working new (different motherboard and HDD, e.t.c.) physical PC. I assume migration to a Vm should not be of interest as it will require the parallel existence of a physical license server (correct me if I am wrong).

Have you tried deactivating the license prior to migrating it?

Either way license support will help resolve this issue!
