Can TC communicate to other app by TCP/IP or twincat ads?

Hi All,
1 Can TC communicate through TCP/IP to other app? 

2 Can TC communicate through twincat ads to BACKHOFF app? 

Please give me some advice,  Thanks a lot

    It is possible to do API testing using TestComplete, but it's very limited. However, there is ReadyAPI which should be able to do what you require.

    TC is a GUI automation tool. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by TCP/IP to other apps, but it possible to use for example, command prompt to ping another machine and capture the output.

      I mean my case is like API testing,  but not on B/S  architecture,  It's on C/S architecture,   from TC to another app via TCP/IP,  Can this work?
