silent install response file "cant read" error

Hi,

Trying to do a silent install and no matter where I try the instal (Want to run from the network but have tried locally) I get the error:

Could not read file <isntall directory>\SOAPUI\response

C:\<install directory>\SOAPUI\SoapUI-x64-5.1.3.exe -q -splash SoapUISilent -varfile response

I've renamed the file but it shouldn't matter.  Like I said I've put it locally and tried running it from there as well.

I tried just like this and removing first two lines.  This is the file generated from the manual install on another machine.

File looks like this:

#install4j response file for SoapUI 5.1.3
#Tue Jun 16 12:52:15 PDT 2015
sys.adminRights$Boolean=true
sys.programGroupDisabled$Boolean=false
createDesktopLinkAction$Boolean=false
sys.programGroupAllUsers$Boolean=false
sys.component.2393$Boolean=true
sys.component.132$Boolean=true
tutorialsLocation=C\:\\Users\\mmiller_admin\\SoapUI-Tutorials
sys.component.1263$Boolean=true
sys.languageId=en
showFileAction$Boolean=false
sys.installationDir=C\:\\Program Files\\SmartBear\\SoapUI-5.1.3
sys.programGroupName=SmartBear\\SoapUI 5.1.3
executeLauncherAction$Boolean=false
sys.component.714$Boolean=false

Thanks for guidance.

Jerry

    Hmm. Never tried that way, but I use always .zip file which should done with just extraction. Does it work for you?

    By the way do you see any log file or windows events for more details?
