Where is the assertion tab in SoapUI?

Hi,

I am new to SoapUI. I would like to create an assertion.

But, I can't find the Assertion tab (which is discussed on tip 4 here),

 

See attached screenshot for main UI is see. Any tips as to how to create assertions in SoapUI?

    mgroen2, assertions work both for REST and SOAP service.

     

    See the snapshot bellow. The test step has a "Contains" assertion, check the "Plus" button to see other types.

      Hi nmrao, I don't have a WSDL file so I can't follow the steps as described in the video.

      I need to create new REST project with an URI...

       

      So, I guess it's not possible to create assertions on REST projects?
