Testing Websphere MQ with SOAPUI

Question

I was wondering if there was a way to test IBM websphere MQ with SOAPUI. What I need to do in this case is send a message to a queue, I don't need to monitor the queue, and validation would be done by checking the DB that MQ writes to. Any ideas or groovy script to achieve this?

Hi,maybe you could use the HermesJMS integration to post message to the queue (see http://soapui.org/JMS/getting-started.html) and then just he JDBC TestStep (see http://soapui.org/JDBC/getting-started.html) to validate the contents of the database!?regards,/OleSmartBear Software

Hiya&nbsp;I appreciate that this is an old query but are there any updates,using hermes would be fine if there was some guidance as to the settings to use nad jar files to reference that would be rather helpful&nbsp;thanksMike&nbsp;
