Property Transfers don't work for Environments

Property Transfers to Project level properties doesn't work with environments.

To reproduce:

  1. New soapUi project, wsdl = http://www.mobilefish.com/services/web_ ... s.php?wsdl

  2. Add project level property, property1

  3. Create environment - copy endpoints, env1

  4. Create a new TestCase for getIANAInfo Request 1

  5. Run teststep to get response

  6. Add Property Transfer test step

  7. Add new property transfer, country

  8. Source window, Property dropdown = Response, put //allianalist[1]/item[1]/countryname[1] in editor

  9. Set Target, Project level (countries), property1

  10. Double click TestCase 1, Leave environment as Default, run testCase, property1 gets set to Afghanistan, GOOD

  11. Change environment to env1, run testCase, property1 gets set to <blank>, WHY???

  12. Repeat the two steps above...

Re: Property Transfers don't work for Environments

Is there a way I can track the progress for bugs getting fixed? This bug makes environments useless.

Re: Property Transfers don't work for Environments

I am having this same problem. Though I have found that if you switch environments then shutdown SoapUI and open it again, it will work mostly properly.

I would like to know when this bug is fixed as well.

Thanks. That works.

Re: Property Transfers don't work for Environments

Has this been fixed? Using Environments is useless without this feature working correctly? I am using version 4.6.4. Do you have a JIRA for your backlog that you can reference? Thanks.

Hi,

is there any solution yet?

I have the same problem with SoapUI Pro 5.1.2.
