Is it possible to auto load project properties from external file

I want to keep all the Project custom properties in a file. this is common for all the Project files.

When i load the project in ReadyAPI, can we configure that it loads automatically the Project properties from external file.

we have closely 40 project files.

Hi Bvenku1982,

As far as I remember, you can pass a path to your file in the D command-line argument. The file should contact values in the following format <variable>=<value>. Please refer to the following article for more information:

Sorry, but i already know this option for the execution.(testrunner)

I want the same kind of option when we open the project in ReadyAPI UI

Looking at the documentation for the "Properties" test step:

http://readyapi.smartbear.com/structure/steps/property/properties/step

It states:

"The Load from and Save to settings specify the file names that the TestStep uses to read and save property values automatically during the test run."

Never actually tried this myself, but might be worth investigating.
