API keeps running for Longer time

After mocking a Restful API, provided all the necessary details in the request in ServiceV and its taking longer time than expected.

Closed the Ready API application and after re running the issue still exists. How to resolve this and where to check the logs for the runs?

    Hi,

    > its taking longer time than expected.

Can you clarify what does this mean?

    There is a Transaction Log - https://support.smartbear.com/readyapi/docs/servicev/log/about.html

Also there are several log panels (ReadyAPI, HTTP, Script...) on the bottom of the ReadyAPI main window. They are collapsed by default and can be expanded by clicking the Show Logs doubled arrow.

    Response:

After mocking an Rest API, tried to run the request and its running for longer time and even after waiting for an hour its still running and not generating the response.

Closed the ReadyAPI Application and even after re running the same request does not solve the purpose.

For a single simple request its taking longer time than expected.

      Hi,

This should not happen. (Unless you implemented an extremely long-running logic in script code that modifies response before it is sent back. ;) )

Check logs that I mentioned to verify that request is received by ServiceV.
