"tcrea.exe" not started automatically

Hi,

 

          In my computer "tcrea.exe" not started automatically, I need to start it manually each time when system start.



Is there any setting to start it automatically?

    Do you mean tcrea.exe that is used in TestComplete 7 and earlier versions, or TestComplete Service that is used in TestComplete 8?



    To have tcrea.exe launched automatically on system startup, check the Tools > Network Suite > Make TCREA start automatically when starting Windows option in TestComplete main menu (if this menu is unavailable, make sure that the Network Suite plug-in is enabled and then, run the menu command View > Toolbars > Restore Default Toolbar).

    Alternatively, you can run the Windows msconfig tool and make sure that tcrea.exe is checked on the Startup tab.



    To have TestCompete 8 Service launched automatically, open the Windows Services applet and set the service's Startup type to Automatica.
