task manager process not showing in object browswer
i have a pdf file that i need to delete but i can't delete it until i close the adobe acrobat process that appears in task manager. however, even though i can see the process in task manager, it doesn't show up in the TestComplete list of processes in the object browser.
The properties indicate a process name of Acrobat.exe
so i created this javascript function
but it doesn't find it. How can a process that appears in Task Manager be hidden from TestComplete?
i found a solution to my problem. there is a setting in chrome to "open files immediately after downloading". I cleared that option and now when the pdf is created it doesn't even open the adobe acrobat process.
It's all good.
