SAFARI support

Hi!

TC support SAFARI: Just add in MSAA "SearchableWebView" and "WebViewWindowClass" 



TestComplete 7.52 + Safari 4.0.5 (in screen)

    This sounds like a tweak to support Safari.



    Is it recommended to tweak TestComplete like this?



    Does this still work with TestComplete 8.7 and the latest Safari 5.1.2 ?

    Hi Mathijs,





    TestComplete provides support for the MSAA technology, which makes TestComplete see additional objects in applications which support this technology too. Safari supports MSAA, so you should be able to work with this browser using the suggestion discussed in this thread. Note, however, that TestComplete does not support Safari oficially, so the behavior you'll observe will depend more on the way support for MSAA is implemented in Safari, than on TestComplete.
