Extensions Confifuration (TestExecute)

We are planning to distribute tests to several internal clients using TestExecute.

We may need to change our extensions configuration by enabling/disabling plug-ins for each test.

I have already read how to do that manually: http://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/26453/

I would like to know if is there a way we can do that at run-time or via configuration for our clients; in other words, we would like extension configuration to be AUTOMATED.

  • Hi Ismail,

There is no way to enable/disable TestComplete extensions at run-time. Actually, I don't see a reason for doing this - another computer or program can't use the extension disabled in TestExecute. It's easier to have all the needed extensions enabled.
