csv open office cannot be opened with excel

Hi,

i tried option above to create a csv outputfile, the question is that this csv file is only readable with open office, if it opens with excel we see unreadable codes, we tried diff. csvtoxls converters but no success.

anybody any advices?

    The routine provided in the link will create an ODS file by default if the input file does not exist.  An ODS file is not a text file.

     

    If the input file already exists as a CSV file, then the output will be as a CSV file.
