Where is the assertion tab in SoapUI?

    mgroen2, assertions work both for REST and SOAP service.

     

    See the snapshot bellow. The test step has a "Contains" assertion, check the "Plus" button to see other types.

Hi nmrao, I don't have a WSDL file so I can't follow the steps as described in the video.

I need to create new REST project with an URI...

 

So, I guess it's not possible to create assertions on REST projects?

      KarelHusaThanks for clarification.

       

      To give you feedback: I was looking at the wrong place for creating assertions. Assertions can only be made on Test Step level.

    It is not the point if you have the wsdl or nor. The point to be noted as where to locate for assertions and the reply also contains the short instructions where to find.
