Saving review with comments & pins

Hi, we need to save the review for a 3-party to work on that does not have Collaborator installed. Is there a way to save the review with comments and pins as a word doc? Please help...

  • You can save a Word document with comments and pins by following these steps:

    Open the Document:
Open the Word document that contains the comments and pins you want to save.
    Click on ‘File’:
Click on the File tab in the top left corner of the Word window.
    Select ‘Save As’:
Choose the Save As option from the menu.
    Choose Your Save Location:
Select the location where you want to save the document.
    Click on ‘Tools’:
Click on the Tools button (usually located near the bottom of the Save As dialog).
    Select ‘Save Options’:
In the Save Options, check the box for Print Markup. This ensures that comments and pins are included in the saved document.
    Save Your Document:
Finally, click the Save button to save the document with comments and pins.

Additionally, if you want to share the comments and pins separately, you can follow these steps:

Print a List of Comments and Track Changes: Go to File > Print in the Backstage view.
    Ensure your printer is selected.
Choose List of Markup from the drop-down menu.
    Click the Print button.

Bonus Section: Save a List of Comments and Track Changes as a Separate File:
Instead of printing, select Microsoft Print to PDF or Adobe PDF in the Printer menu (if available).
Choose List of Markup from the drop-down menu.
    Click the Print button.
Name and save the PDF file.

Now you have both the complete document with comments and pins and a separate list of comments and changes.
