However, the issue isn't that it doesn't launch, the problem is that it launches twice - second time via Navigate which doesn't make sense as all TC should be doing with that commence is navigate - and not launch Edge again. Edge re-launching when it should be navigating to a url Hoping someone can help! I'm creating a scenario to 1) Launch Edge as a Specific User - RunAs 2) Access a url which only that Specific User can access So 1) is straight forward and Edge launches as expected with the user but when 2) runs it also launches Edge but this time not as the specific user and the test fails. Item: Navigate Operation: Edge Value : url to go to When recording 2) Edge was already launched and I typed in the url - why during playback is Edge re-launched by 2) and how do I resolve it? Thanks! Re: Excluding datasource from LoadUI results Just wondering if anyone has come across this before. I would have thought this would be a basic requirement when gathering results - ignore the DB calls which are only run to feed the test case data and would be outside the scope of API calls. Excluding datasource from LoadUI results Is there any way I can exclude database source steps from the end results? It doesn't make sense to have a Database query taking 30 seconds to pull back test data being report as a badly performing result in the LoadUI report when it has nothing to do with the API call itself. Re: LoadUI Not all scenarios running HiSarahS Thanks for getting back to me. I did some further analysis just now and it was actually an erroneous DB search that had the wrong IP Database selection so couldn't pull back the data. That must have impacted the only run then because when I fixed that the run was successful. Btw is there any way I can include database source steps from the end results? It doesn't make sense to have a Database query taking 30 seconds to pull back test data being report as a badly performing result in the LoadUI report when it has nothing to do with the API call itself. Happy to open a new discussion on this one! Thanks again for your previous input! LoadUI Not all scenarios running I have 12 scenarios created for a LoadUI test. Each one has just one test case in each with a wait time of 1ms. As a proof of concept before kicking off my run I set all scenarios to have 1 VU each. However, ten minutes in and only two scenarios are running. If I stop the run and kick it off again I could get just 1 scenario running. The run has Equal Load for all scenarios - why the randomness? SolvedLoadui licenceHello, I just purchased a fixed loadui licence. I already have a floating license for Soapui. The license file I have contains two records.. soapui and loadui. Does this mean when I activate my loadui licence that I no longer use the floating licence and use this soapui\loadui one?SolvedRecording in IE not recording control names Hello, Hopefully someone can help me with an issue that I'm encountering recording a web application in IE. I'm doing a recording initially on a screen with just username and password but when I play it back all of the items captured are called InternetExplorerServer - instead of, say, a click on a textbox called Username the field name was captured as InternetExplorerServer. Instead of the Password textbox I also getInternetExplorerServer - needless to say when I play it back the script fails. I'm obviously doing something incorrectly - and probably glaringly incorrectly - but I'm not getting anywhere just getting the basic login screen recorded. Any ideas where I'm going wrong or what I need to check? Thanks. Re: Recording Web Application - record does not pick up Security Pop up for Username and Password Hi Matt, That first link works so I'll read through it just to expand my knowledge as well. Thanks for your help on this. Regards, Alleyn Re: Recording Web Application - record does not pick up Security Pop up for Username and Password Hi Matt, I had another go and this time I spilt out my recording and recorded the on screen actions of the security window and accessing the url and it worked perfectly. Thanks for the inspiration! Regards, Alleyn
