Mocking Groovy question
Hi all, I don't know how soapUI handles wsdls, and webservice calls internally, but I'd suppose that it generates classes from the wsdl/xsds (perhaps JAXB classes using wsimport(?)).. My theoretical question is whether these classes can be used/accessed in mocking (if they exist at all ) with Groovy, to marshal some previously saved mockresponse xml into an object, and manipulate the object instead of the XML-level modification with XPath tools, and then unmarshal the object to generate the XML response. Hi, thanks for the nice JMS mocking solution! I have one question: how can you stop an infinite-looped testcase (like this JMS mocking testcase)? I mean, if I start the mocking test case, it works fine and handles messages and mocks great for many requests, but if there is no message in the queue to read from, soapUI is waiting for one (until the Timeout value) in the JMS receive step and the "Stops running this testcase" button doesn't stop the testcase (it's enabled, but only to push, no effects). Do you have any ideas? thanks in advance, andrás6.5KViews0likes0Commentsmocking problem: non-WSDL services
Hey, I would like to ask if there is any way to create mock services from non-WSDL (and non-WADL) files. (I have to work on a project, where services are not based on w3c compliant SOAP and WSDL, but on a different XML scheme ( http://www.trask.cz/en/integration-framework )). I know that even the name of soapUI says SOAP, but still wondering Or does anyone know some kind of transformation (XSLT?) solution to create WSDL first and then create the mocks and manually modify responses to give back not soap but the special format of the framework? Or maybe is this a good situation to extend soapUI through the API (Actions/Listeners) to be able to handle these kind of formats? Other ideas for workaround? Any input is welcome Thanks, András Liter967Views0likes0Comments
