Re: SSLHandshake error in 5.3.0
I finally worked through the process of getting access to rename the jre folder in SoapUI 5.3.0 so it would use a new version on my laptop. Presto, the error is gone. There was no need to update any other config settings as the defaults worked fine. I'm surprised that SoapUI 5.3.0 does not alreadyuse an updated jre version that supports TLS 1.2 whichis the recommended secure https protocol at this time.1.9KViews0likes0CommentsSSLHandshake error in 5.3.0
I recently installed SoapUI 5.3.0and I see it has the same issue we ran into with 5.2.0 with not supporting TLS1.2 (SSLHandshake error occurs). We were able to work around the issue in 5.2.0 by renaming the jre folder under C:\Program Files\SmartBear\SoapUI-5.2.0 and also updating SoapUI-5.20.vmoptions. But our veryvery large corporation has now locked down the installation folder to prevent users from updating files underthe C:\Program Files\SmartBear\SoapUI-5.3.0 installation folder. I'm surprised the issue still exists in 5.3.0. Is there a way around this issue without getting access from God to modify something in the locked downfolder structure? BTW, Renaming the jre folder will cause a newer jre version to be found on the desktop that supports TLS1.2 or at least it did in 5.2.0. This could probably be fixed by also modifying the soapui.bat file but again it requires write access to the folder.Solved2KViews0likes1Comment
