Re: Can't launch TestComplete/TestExecute using Windows Task Scheduler
I tried launching the testcomplete through command line and then I saved that command as a .bat file and I was able to launch the TestComplete through Task Scheduler. I think the problem was the Task Scheduler was using SYSTEM as a user to launch TestComplete. Thanks for your help.1.9KViews0likes0CommentsCan't launch TestComplete/TestExecute using Windows Task Scheduler
I cannot run TestComplete/TestExecute through Task Scheduler in Windows. I tried running Adobe Reader through Task Scheduler, it opened up. I am using the same settings to open TestComplete, but not sure why it's not launching through Task Scheduler. I have attached the settings I am using, please take a look at it and let me know, what I am missing. I have attached thedocument with thesettings I am using. If Idisable the option"Enable support for testing Windows Store applications"in TestComplete, I can launch TestComplete through Task Scheduler, but then TestComplete doesn’t recognize theWndClasses that I added in MSSA under project properties. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Hina1.9KViews0likes5CommentsRe: sql server connection error "Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed."
This connection string works, I was not escaping the "\" too. var connectionString = "Provider=SQLOLEDB.1;Password=sql.server;Persist Security Info=True;User ID=sql.server;Initial Catalog=K212.HrPayroll.ThamesValley.Hina;Data Source=keous-sql\\mssqlserver01,1724"; Thanks for the help.7.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: sql server connection error "Provider cannot be found. I have added the ODBC Driver, you can look at the screenshot. Below is the connection string I am using, I am still getting the same error. var AConnection = ADO.CreateADOConnection(); AConnection.ConnectionString = "Provider=SQLDriver; Server = KEOUS-SQL\MSSQLSERVER01,1724; Database=K212.HrPayroll.ThamesValley.Hina;user id = sql.server;password=sql.server";7.1KViews0likes2Commentssql server connection error "Provider cannot be found. Hi, I am trying to connect to the sql server db using TestComplete 11, but I am getting an error: "Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed." Below is the code I am using, please let me know how can I fix it. AConnection = ADO.CreateADOConnection(); // Specify the connection string AConnection.ConnectionString = "Provider=System.Data.SqlClient;"+ "data source=192.168.202.40\mssqlserver01,1724;initial catalog=K212.HrPayroll.ThamesValley.Hina;persist security info=True;user id=sql.server;password=sql.server"; // Suppress the login dialog box AConnection.LoginPrompt = false; AConnection.Open(); // Execute a simple query RecSet = AConnection.Execute_("SELECT * FROM EC_GROUP WHERE EMP_GROUP_CODE = 'ADMIN1'"); // Iterate through query results and insert data into the test log RecSet.MoveFirst(); while(! RecSet.EOF) { Log.Message(RecSet.Fields.Item("EC_GROUP").Value, RecSet.Fields.Item("EMP_GROUP_CODE").Value); RecSet.MoveNext(); } AConnection.Close(); } Thanks, Hina7.2KViews0likes6Comments
