Re: using composite project with source control (MS TFS)
Hello, Right now, when saving whole composite project soapUI checks if test case/test suite, mock operation etc. is changed and is it writeable. If both conditions are true than that item is saved. If file is not writeable and it is changed you'll get message that something is not saved. In any case you be notified what is saved and what is not and why. Check soapUI log. You can save each test case ( and others ) from pop up menu ( composite operations/save ). This way saving only item which you worked on. I suggest to make writeable only those items you are working on so you can save them and than you can commit only them. Check soapUI log to see what items are changed. At this moment soapUI does not have integration with any source control thus it don't know anything about checked in/checked out files. Hope this helps. Tell me how it worked for you. Hello, Composite project is support for team collaboration. It is not source code control, it just splits old project file in separate files. Renaming test case/test suite etc.. should be in sync with file system. Generally file and item should have same name. Obviously this should be fixed..Thanks. Adding new test case should add new file. Robert.732Views0likes0CommentsRe: Using Harvest to manage test artifacts
Hello, In free version you have option to export/import test case and test suite. They all are stored in single xml file, what I mean that each exported test case goes in single xml file, same thing goes for test suite. Export is done on item level, for test case open a popup menu on test case and look for export, for test suite on the test suite open a popup and look for export. Testsuites are imported on project level, test cases on test suite level. After importing test case/test suite it will be included in test suite/project. So, I suggest to export/import test suite if you have lot of test cases. Hope this helps. Robert.791Views0likes0Comments
