KeywordTests - Setting Random/Counter Variables
Looking for a simple way through KeywordTests to set a Random or Counter Variable. So when I'm setting say: 'Username1' the next run through will automatically update itself to 'Username2'. Or Our program requires the entering of a 17 digit VIN number, I would like to be able to generate a random 17 digit variable to fill in that field. I don't have too much programming knowledge for the script side of TestComplete yet so I was wondering what options are available to solve this through KeywordTests. However if there is no way to do that through KeywordTests, how would I do the script function for these?Solved1.4KViews0likes1CommentHow do I map Embedded Text Boxes?
When recording the screen and I click a text box inside a grid, it maps the object inside the grid. However I'm running into a problem where it doesn't pick it up a few test runs later. When I try to remap the Embeddable TextBox, only the large grid around it is picked up. How can I add this object to TestComplete? My only work-around currently has been to re-record the object.1.3KViews0likes3CommentsAbility to Quick-Run Scripts/Projects
Please add the ability to be able torun a saved project by right clicking and hitting Run Project. This will give us the ability to quickly run projects without having to open and wait for TestComplete to load the project and then hit "Run Test". This feature should be available to users with TestComplete installed. .1.2KViews1like0Comments
