Re: Error loading WADL in ready api, works fine in SoapUI opensource
Thanks for your responses, Gilu and Marcus. Since yesterday, I found out thatI can now import the wadl successfully in ReadyAPI, but only after I imported another one that works before. Now, I'm aware that it probably means there's something wrong with the wadl I'm trying to import, and I've informed the developer where I work about this, but the fact is that it fails the original import, so it's still a minor annoying issue. I have attached the xml file in question. Here are the steps toreproduce the issueconsistently: 1. Relaunch ReadyAPI 1.8.5 2. From the Projects tab, create a new empty project 3. From the project contextual menu, Add WADL. 4. Select the file and click OK 5. "Error loading WADLThere was something wrong with the WADLyou are trying to import". No error message gets displayed in the text area. 6.Close ReadyAPI and launch SoapUI. 7. Import the wadl. It works! or 6. Import another simple wadl 7. Import the original wadl. It works!8 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions3.5KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Groovy version error with war file in ReadyAPI v1.3
Hi Osten, The good news is I am no longer able to reproduce the problem. I tried re-creating the war twice using 1.3 and it is running perfectly. Still, I have attached the full expection trace for reference, as suggested. From my point of view, this is resolved. I have been using ReadyAPI to generate a war file that includes a Script dispatch method. The war file is deployed as a servicein tomcat8.0.20. In ReadyAPI v1.2.2, the war file works fine. Using the war file generated inv1.3, whenever the script is invoked, I get an exception with the following error message: "groovy-all is loaded in version 2.1.7 and you are trying to load version 2.4.1" (See below for full exception trace from tomcat's localhost.log) I am using the exact same soapui project file with both versions. Is this a known issue? It looks like I need to update the version of groovy somewhere.
