Re: Capture log errors screen between the mobile and the desktop
Hello Alex, My concern is with the automatically generated screen shot when there is an error log (when using the Log.Error () method), in this case the screenshot is done by default on the screen Mobile, while sometimes I would like it to be done on the Desktop if the error occurs on the PC application. I have seen in the meantime that there is the Picture parameter in the Log.Error () method that I could use to indicate on which screen I want to make the screenshot, is this a good solution? Thank you. Nicolas1.8KViews0likes1CommentCapture log errors screen between the mobile and the desktop
Hello, I wanted to know if we could choose where to take the screenshot, when there is an error, if we run Mobile and Desktop tests? Currently, if a mobile is connected and used during a test, all screenshots are made on the Mobile. In my Mobile tests, I pilot a Desktop application, when an error occurs on this application, the screenshot is made on the Mobile, not on the PC (so the screenshot is not interesting). Thank you. Ah yes indeed! It works much better! I thought the project was using the TFS provider, but it was with the SCC API Provider's plugin (which is no longer compatible with the 64-bit version). Thanks a lot for your help! :-) Have a good day!1.6KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Unable to use TFS source control with TC 12.40 64 bits
Thank you for your reply, and yes I use TFVC client. When I run Test Complete 32 bits, it works well. The problem is that the list is empty with Test Complete 64 bits: The provider appears to be correctly installed in 32 and 64 bits: That's why I ask your help to know if someone had the problem or if it comes from my installation.1.6KViews0likes2CommentsUnable to use TFS source control with TC 12.40 64 bits
Hello, I downloaded the latest version of TestComplete (12.40.2869.7), to test it in 64 bits. My problem is that I can not run the source control because Test Complete tells me it is not installed. I installed this version: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=TFSPowerToolsTeam.MicrosoftVisualStudioTeamFoundationServer20132015M-11387 Here is the error message : Do you have an idea of the problem? Thank you Nicolas THOMASSolved1.6KViews0likes4CommentsRe: Component offset from the visual
Hello, I found a solution by taking the width and height of the smartphone and I divisie to the width and height of the application to give me a zoom factor : var oMobile = Mobile.Device("RAINBOW"); var oRootLayout = oMobile.FindChild('ObjectType', 'RootLayout', 5); var iCoefHeight = oMobile.Desktop.Height / oRootLayout.Height; var iCoefWidth = oMobile.Desktop.Width / oRootLayout.Width; I look for the component and a variable, I store the new X and Y coordinates by adding the zoom factor to click in the middle of the component : var oComponent = oRootLayout.FindChild(new Array('ObjectType', 'textContent'), new Array('TextNode', "Démarrer l'application"), 50); var iComponentCoordinateX = (oComponent.ScreenLeft * iCoefWidth) + ((oComponent.Width * iCoefWidth) / 2); var iComponentCoordinateY = (oComponent.ScreenTop * iCoefHeight) + ((oComponent.Height * iCoefHeight) / 2); Then I click on the mobile to coordinated X and Y found : oMobile.Touch(iComponentCoordinateX, iComponentCoordinateY); Here is a solution if you ever have the problem. Tanya thank you for your help. Have a great day. Nicolas2.1KViews1like0CommentsRe: Component offset from the visual
Hi Tanya, Thank you for your reply. Here is a montage to show you the problem : HighlightObject that we see on the appplication Smartphone is the RootLayout object in the Object Browser. We can see that does not match the visual of appplication. I asked our developers, they told me that the size of the components were fixed, the Smartphone resizes the components according to the size of the screen. I ask you the question about whether you have had the problem and determine if it is a TestComplete parameterization problem, the Android SDK or our application? Good day. Hello ! I just created a new project to test the TC Mobile module 10. Everything works properly (installation, smartphone emulation, ...). I just have a problem, because when I use object spy, components are not in the same location as visually. example: In the Object Browser: Aliases.Device.Desktop.Height = 1280 Aliases.Device.Desktop.Width = 720 This is the size of the screen => ok Then I process my application and the first component "RootLayout" Aliases.Device.Process ("My application"). RootLayout.Height = 1138 Aliases.Device.Process ("My application"). RootLayout.Width = 640 When I make a Highlight on Screen on the component, I have a rectangle but it is smaller than the application. All components within are also affected. You had this problem? Thank you. Nicolas PS: I apologize if I made mistakes, I try to improve my English.Solved2.2KViews0likes4Comments
