How to check if application is closed
I want to check if exe application is closed before opening another instance of application. Right now I am using script like. WMI["ComputerName"] = "."; WMI["WaitForProcessExit"]("MyApplication.exe", 30000) MyApp= TestedApps["MyApplication"] MyApp["Launch"] = true MyApp["Run"](1,true,-1); After I click on close applicaton I call this script and then open another instance of application. But some times it take more time to close the existingapplication and so the above script does not work.3.8KViews0likes6CommentsWindow getting minimized on click of floating button

Re: How to check if the window or object exsist
Nope as Dialog1 does not exsists, If I use waitproperty on Dialog1 likeif(Aliases["App"]["WinFormsObject"]("Dialog1")["WaitProperty"]("Exists",True, 1000)) Aliases["App"]["WinFormsObject"]("Dialog1")["WinFormsObject"]("buttonClose")["Click"]() then it gives a message that Unable to find the object WinFormsObject("Dialog1")1.9KViews0likes2CommentsHow to check if the window or object exsist
I have dialog1 appearing on my App sometime and if it appears then I have to click on Ok and sometime this dialog might not appear. if(Aliases["App"]["WinFormsObject"]("Dialog1")["Exists"]) Aliases["App"]["WinFormsObject"]("Dialog1")["WinFormsObject"]("buttonClose")["Click"]() I cannot us "Exists" property here on Dialog1 as Dialog1 will not be there if it does not appear. I tried to put try catch block also but it is not handling the expection thrown try catch.Solved1.9KViews0likes5CommentsObject Name changes dynamically
I have listview whose object name changes dynamically. This is because during development they dynamically add listview and thiswill generate the name for the object I guess. So some times I get the object name withWinFormsObject and some times with out this. Aliases["mainapp"]["MainForm"]["DockContainer2"]["WinFormsObject"]("MyTree")["WinFormsObject"]("MyTree")["WinFormsObject"]("panel1")["WinFormsObject"]("MyTree")["WinFormsObject"]("_treeTableView")["WinFormsObject"]("ListView", "") Aliases["mainapp"]["MainForm"]["DockContainer"][" MyTree "]["MyTree "]["panel1"][" MyTree "]["ztreeTableView"]["ListView"] I guess I cannot edit this value in namemapping as the complete value changes. Can you please suggest a solution for this.610Views0likes1Comment
