Re: Two browser instances at the same time
Finally I found a way In Internet Explorer work with process index Set browserWindow1 = Sys.Process("iexplore", 1).Page("myHomeURL") Set browserWindow2 = Sys.Process("iexplore", 2).Page("myHomeURL") In Firefox work with page index Set browserWindow1 = Sys.Process("firefox").Page("myHomeURL") Set browserWindow2 = Sys.Process("firefox").Page("myHomeURL", 1) That way I can interact with two different windows at the same page at the same running time.5.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Two browser instances at the same time
Yes, the same page and user. The test goal is to verify that when one user is doing an specific action on that page (seting a textbox for instance), another user can't do the action (setting the same textbox) because the application blocks some actions when some user is doing it. So the same browser, two windows, two users doing the same action. User 1 can set the textbox, user 2 has the textbox disabled.5.1KViews0likes0CommentsTwo browser instances at the same time
Hello all, I have some tests that requires working with two browsers windows/instances at the same time for user sync tests. It works well with IE since I can identify browser instances by the O.S process. For example: Set myRootObject = Sys.Process("iexplore", 1).Page("myapplication") Set myRootObject2 = Sys.Process("iexplore", 2).Page("myapplication") In this way, I can interact with two windows of the same browser at the same time. The problem comes when trying to do the same with Firefox since no matter how many Firefox browser you are running you get only one firefox.exe process instance. How can I make concurrent tests, so I can interact with two or more windows of the same browser in the same test? Hi all, I am using VBScript in my keyword testing. I use the following line in order to compare on the fly images with stored images (regions). result = Regions.myStoredImage.Check(liveImage, True, False, 20, 60) I want to implement a function that takes as arguments the on the fly image object and the name (string) of the stored image region: Function compareImages(liveImage, storedImage) And use it like this: result = compareImage(liveImage, "myStoredImage") How could I implement that? I can't do this: Function compareImages(liveImage, storedImage) compareImages =Regions.storedImage.Check(liveImage, True, False, 20, 60) End Function1.4KViews0likes1CommentLog bad Ordered (Picture)
Hello, I'm having some problems with the log of my tests. - Pictures, warnings and errors are being pushed always in the first place of the log, not in the right position acording with the log calls sequence in the scripts. Why the log appears disordered? All the rest of the team shares the same sources and they does not have this problem. Their test logs are in the right sequence. Have anyone experienced this, or similar, problem? ThanksSolved2.4KViews0likes3CommentsRich data structures in keyword testing aproach
I program tests in visual basic and keyword - driven. Since I have reached a quite large amount of tests, the source code is begining to become complexe. I want to beging to encapsule my data and build "rich" or not simple data types. I found solutions as DLL or the ODT aproach. Also visual basic scripts allows you to define classes but it is really not considered an object oriented language. Which solution is best to build better data structures? Is compatible the ODT classes with my keyword test driven methodology? I would appriciate suggestions. Thanks in advance.1.8KViews0likes1Comment
