Re: Resume running a project when it stopped on error
Thanks for the answers. But in my test cases, each test case is really dependent on the output of the previous one. So I can't stop/handle the exceptions and move on to the next test case. Even if I do, its not going to help me any way. The option I am looking for is similar to the following: If Error Found, then: 1) Pause the execution 2) Report Error 3) Correct the error Manually 4) Resume the test. Does TestComplete has any option similar to this?1.8KViews0likes0CommentsHow to use a variable in SQL query in Keyword Test
In the add variable wizard, I am choosing DBTable > Database query > Connection > Query text The problem is I cannot use a variable in the sql query. For Example, I want to use, Select * from TestDB where TestDBID like 'SOMEVARIABLE' instead of Select * from TestDB where TestDBID like '9998D%' I am using script for accomplishing this till now. Is there a way of using the same in Keyword tests? Thanks,4.5KViews0likes3CommentsHow to set a variable in Keyword Tests from ClipBoard

My Variable is "tempNum" I am trying to set in the following rule Item: rtxtDescription Operation: Click Value: Project.Variables.tempNum = Sys.Clipboard but the value of tempNumnremains to be empty. But when I write in the script it worked. Please help me to set a variable to a value from clipboard.
