Close "Save Changes" dialog when running testcomplete from commandline
I'm running TestComplete from command line with /e in order to close TestComplete when it finishes the execution. However TestComplete shows a message asking to save the Project Suite. I think this happens because a new Project Suite Log is created as a result of the execution. How can I avoid this message or force TestComplete to close?14KViews0likes1CommentWebAccessibility Checkpoint results details
Hi, Is there any way to view the details of a web accessibility checkpoint? I've created one, ran it, and testcomplete says it passed, but nothing else. I would like to see which links, mailto, etc... have TestComplete checked and the result of each item, not just an OK. Thanks17KViews0likes4CommentsCommand line test execution and log files
Hi, I'm trying to execute TestComplete tests from command line, this works perfectly. Now I need to obtain the log files of the execution, which are saved under <project_path>/log/M_DD_YYYY_H_MMetc... It is quite difficult to automatically compose the directory name, specialy because it contains also the milliseconds. I need this in order to integrate the execution with PractiTest (QA Management tool SaaS). They provide a tool, which is able to locally execute a command line, but I need to specify also where the test results, the logs, are taken from. I'm looking for a way to specify testcomplete which folder to use to store the log files by command line. Thanks in advance Roger17KViews0likes1CommentRe: Adding ActiveX objects
Hi, Thanks for the reply. The exact message is within a popup that appears after selecting the component in the "Select ActiveX Component" dialog is: "File LICENSE.DAT not found. License Agreement can not be completed". Then after accepting this popup, another message comes up saying "Unable to create and instance of the ActiveX object..." I assume its correctly registered because it appears in the Select ActiveX component dialog. The application under test is correctly licensed and works perfectly, so I assume the object should also be correctly licensed... Thanks1.6KViews0likes0CommentsAdding ActiveX objects
Hi, I'm using an evaluation version of TestComplete. I tried to add an ActiveX object (SPR32X60.ocx) to my project, and received an error saying that LICENSE.DAT not found. Is this related to the evaluation version? Is there a way to sort out this and evaluate TestComplete with the app I'm interested with? Thanks and regards,19KViews0likes3Comments
