Sharing TestedApps
I have an application suite with a number of modules and on my test suite I have a test project for each module. I need to create a TestApps file for each module eventhough they all launch the same application, the problem is now I have to change the application path and I have to go through each one of the modules and change the application and command lines. I tried to add the TestedApps as an exsitent item from another project (the same way I would share a script) but it doesn't let me. What is the best way I could accomplish this task, sharing the TestedApps with all my modules within the Test Suite? Thanks.15KViews0likes1CommentRe: TFS Integration
Nevermind, the problem was the instruction (http://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/11011/) says to download the MSSCCI provider but doesn't say it needs to be the 32-bit version. Since my VS2010 and the TFS are both on 64-bit I figured I needed the MSSCI 64-bit, however to integrate with TestComplete the 32-bit is required.896Views0likes0CommentsTFS Integration
I need some help integrating with Team Foundation Server. I have downloaded the "Microsoft Team Foundation Server MSSCCI Provider" as suggested (http://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/11011/). When I go to Add the project to source control the "Select SCC Provider" only give options to "Microsoft VisualSourceSafe" and "Microsoft Visual SourceSafe (Internet)." When I go to Tools->Options->Source Control, the options available for the SCC Provider are the same as the ones above. What am I missing? Thanks in advance.18KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Create Object Instance
Julia, thanks for the reply. I call methods, access variables....with no problems, the problem is creating an instance of the class itself. All the examples I found on the help pages was about creating classes, but not instances of existent classes that live on my application assembly, or any other .NET assembly for that matter. Is that a way to do that?1KViews0likes0CommentsCreate Object Instance
Is it possible to create an object instance of a class my application uses? i.e. My app uses a control called Vendor.Controls.StarEventArgs, I want to create an instance of this class - something like var sArgs = new AppDomain("MyApp").dotNet.Vendor_Controls.StarEventArgs();15KViews0likes4Comments
