Re: Advanced settings of webservice
Hi Alexei, I have got attachments which display the web service/application that I am attempting to set up. One is of the place where I want to change and the other is the value I want to change My issue is with this web serice is that the default ApplicationPool is set at 'DefaultAppPool', but for some reason I need to set it to 'Classic .Net AppPool' for my application to properly connect to it. I am using IIS Manager 7.1.5KViews0likes0CommentsThe window is invisible and thus cannot be activated
Hi, I currently have the situation where I am attempting to execute some tests within the application where it enters some details for users of the application, so therefore it needs to enter some passwords into the details. But for some reason when I attempt to execute the entry of the passwords, it states that 'The window is invisible and thus cannot be activated'. This is quite concerning because it is only just before this that I attempt click on the window on the line to enter the password. On the same window in the same sort of controls I successfully enter the name and user id of the user whose details I am entering. So what puzzles me is why it can see some and not these two. I am attempting to do this with a keyword test, as idenified in attachment 1, and the two lines of code where I am getting an error are highlighted. In attachment two is the application window that I am testing, and I have highlighted the two fields that I am enterering data. Any suggestions would be great thanks. Hi, I haveautomated theinstall ofan application, that during the install creates the webservice for the synchronisation of a client application to the server. The situation is though that the default advanced settings are not correct for it torun properly, so I therefore need to update it before I can start executing my tests properly. Is anybody able to assist me with advice onhow I may be able to automate the update of these advanced settings on my webserice? Thanks is advance, Ken23KViews0likes5CommentsRe: Invalid Address message when attempting to connect to Oracle VirtualBox
Hi Julia, I have had some success with the assistance of one of my co-workers. We switched the Domain setting from the domain for the company to the name of the virtual pc and that got it working. It wasn't actually getting on the company domain so therefore it couldn't see it. Thanks for your help. Hi Julia, Thanks for your help so far. I tried to ping the PC and it was using IPv6, so I thought that I would switch IPv6 off, and while I was able to ping the PC and I changed the address to the IPv4 IP address, I still got the Invalid Address error. When I tried to connect with Remote Desktop, it kept on giving me the error that the remote computer could not be verified because security certificate could not be authenticated was not from a trusted certifying authority? I have attached the message I am getting. Any suggestions? Thanks in Advance Ken1.9KViews0likes0CommentsInvalid Address message when attempting to connect to Oracle VirtualBox
Hi, I have been attempting to connect to an Oracle Virtualbox through the network suite, and all I am getting is an "Invalid Address" error when I try the verify. I have executed the "Fill from the network" option to get the machine on my list of hosts, I have then entered the domain, user and password to connect, and then I have tried to use the verify and I keep getting this message. I have tried a number of different options but just don't seem to be getting anywhere. I have TestComplete installed on my Window7 64bit machine, but the repository is on a server. The Oracle VirtualBox is Win7 64bit and is also located on my machine. I am running TestComplete 8.60 Enterprise Does anyone know of anything that may not allow me from connecting to this virtual pc?
