Re: If statement for Checked or Unchecked
I ended up with the following code: w5 = p1["frmPRSelectSOInv"]; w6 = w5["panel1"]["xtraTabControl1"]; w7 = w6["xtraTabPage1"]["grpFilter"]; w7["ecbFinish"]["cbo"]["Keys"]("FinishA[Tab]"); w7["ecbGrade"]["cbo"]["Keys"]("GradeA[Tab]"); w7["ecbSpecificSO"]["cbo"]["Keys"]("CompanyASO[Tab]"); w8 = w7["groupControl3"]["chkInvType"]; w8["CheckItem"]("P/O Release", cbChecked); w8["CheckItem"]("Upline", cbChecked); w8["CheckItem"]("Finished Goods", cbChecked); w6["ClickTab"]("Advanced Criteria"); w7 = w6["xtraTabPage2"]["groupControl4"]; w7["ecbCustomer"]["cbo"]["Keys"]("CompanyA[Tab]"); w7["ecbPart"]["cbo"]["Keys"]("CoAPart[Tab]"); w7["ecbLocation"]["cbo"]["Keys"]("2[Tab]"); w7["ecbType"]["cbo"]["Keys"]("TypeA[Tab]"); w7["ecbProduct"]["cbo"]["Keys"]("ProductA[Tab]"); if (w7["chkToll"]["wState"] == 1) w7["chkToll"]["wState"] = 0; w5 = p1["frmPRSelectSOInv"]; w5["BarDockControl"]["DockedBarControl"]["ClickItem"]("Run Query"); The code does remove the check mark if box is checked and ignores if the box is not checked. This is how it should perform. However, on line w7["chkToll"]["wState"] = 0; , I receive the following: An error occurred: Possible reasons: 1. The application stopped responding. 2. The application was compiled incorrectly (see the Open Applications topic in the help system). 3. An error occurred in TestComplete. I am looking for assistance withprogramming. Below is a few lines from my script. I have a checkbox (chkToll)that I would like to check the status of and when it is Checked, I want to uncheck it. And when it is UnChecked, I want it left unChecked. I am looking to put this between lines 17 and 19. Thanks in advance. 1 w5 = p1["frmPRSelectSOInv"]; 2 w6 = w5["panel1"]["xtraTabControl1"]; 3 w7 = w6["xtraTabPage1"]["grpFilter"]; 4 w7["ecbFinish"]["cbo"]["Keys"]("FinishA[Tab]"); 5 w7["ecbGrade"]["cbo"]["Keys"]("GradeA[Tab]"); 6 w7["ecbSpecificSO"]["cbo"]["Keys"]("CompanyASO[Tab]"); 7 w8 = w7["groupControl3"]["chkInvType"]; 8 w8["CheckItem"]("P/O Release", cbChecked); 9 w8["CheckItem"]("Upline", cbChecked); 10 w8["CheckItem"]("Finished Goods", cbChecked); 11 w6["ClickTab"]("Advanced Criteria"); 12 w7 = w6["xtraTabPage2"]["groupControl4"]; 13 w7["ecbCustomer"]["cbo"]["Keys"]("CompanyA[Tab]"); 14 w7["ecbPart"]["cbo"]["Keys"]("CoAPart[Tab]"); 15 w7["ecbLocation"]["cbo"]["Keys"]("2[Tab]"); 16 w7["ecbType"]["cbo"]["Keys"]("TypeA[Tab]"); 17 w7["ecbProduct"]["cbo"]["Keys"]("ProductA[Tab]"); 18 w7["chkToll"]["wState"] = cbUnChecked; 19 w5 = p1["frmPRSelectSOInv"]; 20 w5["BarDockControl"]["DockedBarControl"]["ClickItem"]("Run Query");14KViews0likes5CommentsCommand Line bat file to execute TC Project suite projects on TE
I created a command line bat file to start TestExecute, Load project suite andrun projects. The bat file starts TE andloads the project suite. The bat file sits on the first line of command file as if it is running. My TestedApp is not starting and the project SMPrintPreviewis not running. There is a line in the Project unit that tells TestedApp to run. And it works fine on TestComplete. Here are the first couple of lines for my bat file: @echo off echo _ echo start scripts... echo _ pause @echo on Start /wait "TestExecute" "C:\Program Files\Automated QA\TestExecute 8\Bin\TestExecute.exe" "C:\TestComplete\TestComplete8\dlsxp3Suite\dlsxp3Suite.pjs" /r/p:SMPrintPreview /exit /SilentMode ******this is where bat file stops and waits Start /wait "TestExecute" "C:\Program Files\Automated QA\TestExecute 8\Bin\TestExecute.exe" "C:\TestComplete\TestComplete8\dlsxp3Suite\dlsxp3Suite.pjs" /r/p:StopStartWidgetsdlsxp3_01 /exit /SilentMode11KViews0likes2CommentsRe: New to Distributed Testing
One of my slave computers is not running the correct project in a project suite. I have checked the path on the host and everything looks fine. Attached in a screen print showing the dlsxp7 slave being set up to run the POPrintPreview project. When it runs on the host, it lists the POPrintPreview project as running. However, when you go to the slave computer, the project thatranwas thePOTestingScripts project.3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: New to Distributed Testing
I started over with a new Distributed Testing project suite. I am encountering an error with the name mapping. I created my projects in an earlier version of TC6. I then imported them into TC7 and saved them to a seperate folder. I then imported them into TC8 and saved them to a seperate folder.I also exported and imported the name mapping. When I open the project suites in TC 8, they run fine. I then copy the folder over to the slave computer. When I run thedistributed teston the slave with TestExecute, the errors that I am getting are that the 'Aliases' is undefined. On the slave, thetested application starts and produces the log in form, that is where test execute states the log in forms alias is undefined.3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: New to Distributed Testing
I have made a few changes and the scripts are attempting to run on the remote slave dlsxp1. I still am having problems with the remote window not opening so that I can watch/monitor the tests running. I also noticed that 2 SM projects (SMTestingScripts and SMPrintPreview)are running eventhough I only have the SMTestingScripts set up to run. I have attached an updated Distributed Testing Project zip file.3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: New to Distributed Testing
My projects were created using TC 6. I have opened them in TC 7 and TC 8 to get to the point I am at. Until I am comfortable with what I am doing, I am only working with 1 slave. Masteris Windows 7 Remote Slave is XP. My remote desktop window is not opening and when the master script is running, it appears the script is trying to run test items on the Master and not the remote computer c: directory. I have attached a zip file of the Distributed Testing structure if you can advise me on where I went wrong, I would appreciate it. Thanks3KViews0likes0CommentsNew to Distributed Testing
I have created several Project Suites for testing. I would like to run these suites via distributed testing. I have set up a distributed test with the master and slave. I have also been able to verify. The question that I have is should the remote desktop window open? My project indicates it is running however I am not able to see the script unittests run because no remote desktop window opens.13KViews0likes9Comments
