Trouble with wScript.Shell
Hello, I'm trying to shell out to one of our tested apps with the following script: Sub StartE2Shop() dim objShell Set objShell = Sys.OleObject("WScript.Shell") objShell.Run("cmd /c cd\LabAutomation\Build & C:\LabAutomation\Build\E2SS_Shop_Gatekeeper.exe |Time_And_Attendance_001 | TC12TA |66") Set objShell = Nothing End Sub The problem stems from the method used to pass parameters to the app. If I leave out the parameters, the app starts as it should, but throws an error that it doesn't have the data it needs to run (as it should). When I include the parameters as written above the line executes without error, but nothing happens. The app does not start. thanks, Mike Smith1.9KViews0likes1Comment- 1.1KViews0likes0Comments
Re: Batch Testing
Possibly a name mapping issue. We haven't set any specific name mappings, however. So I can't see how this could enter in to play. Object names should be the same within each test and from the calling routine as well. Unless I'm misunderstanding name mapping. What do you mean by "dynamic properties" specifically?1.1KViews0likes0CommentsBatch Testing
Hello, We are experiencing a frustrating issue with batch testing. We have several Keyword tests that run perfectly fine by themselves, but when we put them into a batch run, we get numerous "Tested object could not be found" errors. these are always in reference to some control in the tested app (Text box, grid, etc). If we redirect the test item to the object, then it works fine. thank you5.1KViews0likes5CommentsRe: TestComplete doesn't support Infragistics 9.2 controls?
Is this possibly the reason I cannot select from an embedded drop-down in an infrgistices ultragrid? The best I can do is force a value into the cell, but not actually chhose a value in the drop-down. Do I need to purchase and install this NetVantage Windows forms client? thank you1.4KViews0likes0Comments
