Re: Parametric URL for Web Test,, how?
Hello Renato I have used Datasources,, inside SOAP calls,, but never on the URL. I just want to change part of the URL dynamically, on each request.. This sound very simple, but I cannot make it work. Have anybody tried to change the actual URL on each request,, dynamically? Thanks again DT11 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions2.5KViews0likes0CommentsParametric URL for Web Test,, how?
I need to test a website that returns XML responses on URL like these: https://mysite.com/phone/xxxxxxxxxx https://mysite.com/phone/yyyyyyyyy https://mysite.com/phone/zzzzzzzzzz (the last part is a phone number) Is there any way to pass the last part of the URL as a Variable? maybe read from a txt file with a list of pre-defined phone numbers? Id like to make the test on SOAP UI and then run it with Load UI. Im using soapUI Pro 4.0.1 ,, when I use my Web Services project on loadUI I get a lot of: 23:21:35,702 ERROR [WsdlSubmit] Exception in request: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out 23:21:35,702 ERROR [SoapUI] An error occured [Read timed out], see error log for details java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out All over 60 seconds,,, looks like there is a socket timeout somewhere of 60 seconds. I tried to changed in on Global Preferences | HTTP Settings | Socket Timeout but Im having the same result. If this something that can be changed? My test cases require that some responses for my Web Services are over 60 seconds.13 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions2.4KViews0likes2Comments- 13 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions678Views0likes0Comments
Re: Problem getting the Fixed Load working with Scheduler
Im still having the same issue. I installed loadUI on Ubuntu and Cent OS,, same behavior that I have in Window: if I connect the Scheduler to the Fixed Load, the Switch on the Fixed Load goes ON but the load is not triggered (I dont see requests being sent from the runner. But I realize two things: 1- If I configured the Scheduler for a time that passed already, the it started generating load as soon as I hit PLAY. 2- If I connect the Scheduler to a Test Case, it works well (driving the whole Test Case I wonder if this is a bug or just me not knowing how to do things.13 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions678Views0likes0CommentsProblem getting the Fixed Load working with Scheduler
Im having a problem with the Fixed Load being triggered by scheduler. For some reason is not working,, when the time to start comes, I see the Switch changing to ON,, but it doesnt trigger the Runner. If I connect the same Scheduler to a Virtual User generator,, it works fine,, i see the Runner triggering the test case. If I run the Fixed Load manually, without the Scheduler, it works fine,, , the only thing I do after is connecting the scheduler on the upper left Input of the Fixed Load,, but when I do "play" nothing,, just the switch to ON when the time comes,, thats it. I wonder if there are special considerations there or the Fixed Load just doesnt work with the scheduler.13 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions2.8KViews0likes3Comments
