Re: soapUI Pro 5.1.0
Hi, I just tried to converted new project format and found some test case files hit the limitation of maximum length of file name by Windows file system. After that, I cannot delete the test cases. Is there any workaround?10 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions2.4KViews0likes0CommentsRe: parse SQL failed in Data source with = or "
I meant if I use same query, but just paste and create 'Property' (in top red box), then it just works. However, if I use 'Build Query' option (bottom red) to create properties and modify query in SOAPUI, then I'll get a parse error.11 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.8KViews0likes0CommentsRe: parse SQL failed in Data source with = or "
Hi, I noticed that if I add properties by manual, then the task just passed. It fails when you try to rebuild with 'Build Query' wizard. Hi, I'm creating assertion teststep because I need to loop for checking some values from data source without calling service multiple times. One thing I noticed is that assertion teststep does not leave detail error message for each assertion in either TestCase log or Report. If same assertions created under the rest service step directly, it gives me the detail error message, but with assertion teststep, it just returns FAILED, so hard to figure out why it failed. Is there any way to get detail message either testcase log or testcase report?11 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.3KViews0likes1Commentparse SQL failed in Data source with = or "
Hi, I'm creating data source with JDBC or Data connection. Recently I got a parsing error because of using SQL function with =. For example, the following query will fail by =. select IIF(typeid=1, 'Y', 'N') as boolean from table Is there any way to use those functions in sql query or using wizard?11 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions3.7KViews0likes7CommentsRe: [Resolved] XML node from Response of JDBC has dot(.)
Hi, I think I found how to parse with quotation like following; log.info result.ResultSet.Row[0]."a.name".text() But still wonder why JDBC doesn't return the result with alias column name.11 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions920Views0likes0Comments[Resolved] XML node from Response of JDBC has dot(.)
Hi, I have a JDBC request using join query and it returns XML node containing dot(.) rather than having alias name. How can I get the value using XML slurper? My query is like this; select a.name as name, b.street as street from person a, address b Then the result back from JDBC looks like this; <resultset> <a.name>xxx</a.name> <b.street>yyy</b.street> </resultset> , which I expected like this; <resultset> <name>xxx</name> <street>yyy</street> </resultset> So I cannot get values for each node with groovy script like following. Is there something I can use like quotation like ..Row[0]."a.name"? def response = context.expand(...#responseAsxml}) def result = new XmlSlurper.parseText(response) log.info result.ResultSet.Row[0].a.name log.info result.ResultSet.Row[0].b.street11 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.6KViews0likes3CommentsGroovy Max() of list returns strange value
Hi, I'm using the following groovy script to find max value of a list which has 2 test case properties. But returning result is confusing. def a= context.expand( '${#TestCase#A}' ) def b= context.expand( '${#TestCase#B}' ) def Z = [a,b] log.info Z.max() A and B have integers like 800,900 or 1000. But if they are '900' and '1000', then Z.max() returns 900, which looks like treated like string. (compare only first character) So I had to add toInteger() when defining Z like, 'def Z = [a.toInteger(), b.toInteger()]', then it works. Even a and b are integer before they get into Z if I check with isInteger(). So should I assume everything will turn into a string type in list?1.7KViews0likes2Comments
