I have a rest response in which PDF is being returned. How to save it to my local disk as pdf?
Hi, I am getting a pdf in the response of a rest call. Which is displayed as encrypted in the raw response. I wanted to store that file to my local disk and email it . If I compare it with a soap service, I could see that in soap service, the pdfs are coming in the response as attachments in response and I can click on the attachment and save it to my local. I am looking for a way to do the same from a rest response as well. This may be very basic question for the experst out here . Hi, I have to run 2 testcases back to back. Both of them are having excel datasource and data sink steps. Using PRO 4.6.1. First test case works perfect - reads value from Excel with datasource, send request, writes data back to excel. The data which is written back to excel will be used to run the second testcase. When Execeuting the second one, datasource is not pulling the values updated by the first testcase. I opened the sheet and find that values are written in the sheet. Basically it is pulling the values of the excel sheet which were there before executing the first testcase from somewhere. >:( Please help Bimal11 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.6KViews0likes3CommentsHelp-Data Source not reading the values from Excel

Hi, I just got a SoapUI Pro license and started working. In my current project ,the plan is to get rid of the external dependancies on external datasources out of which the response data is fetched. The goal is to isolate API testing. There are 2 types of services in my project 1. Communicates with thirdparty services 2. Communicates directly with DB(This invokes stored procedures in DB to fetch data) For the 1st type, I can easily mock thirdparty webservice(with predefined responses) and point my webservice to the mock service to test. But for the 2nd type, I do not have anything to mock and I dont want my webservice to communicate with DB. The response should be generated from something like a mock service. Is there any option for that in SoapUI Pro? Thanks13 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.4KViews0likes0Comments
