I'm working on testing a REST Webservice and wanted to know how to create variables in the request?

I'm working on testing a REST Webservice and wanted to know how to create variables in the request body using ReadyAPI?

{
"VerificationToken: "123456789",
"language": "EN",
"PlayerId": "Player1",
"partnerType": "ABC",
"clientLaunchParameters": {

}
}

I'd like to create global variables for the VerificationToken and the PlayerID.

Hello, First you would need to define global variables say VerificationToken and PlayerID under Preferences/Global properties.

In Json Payload, call those variables as shown below.

{
"VerificationToken: "${VerificationToken }",
"language": "EN",
"PlayerId": "${PlayerID }",
"partnerType": "ABC",
"clientLaunchParameters": {

}
}

Regards!
