namemapping will not commit

i have been using test complete for almost a year. currently using Version 15.45.15.7. after making several changes to my project suite yesterday i attempted to commit and push my changes to the master repository. everything changed to a green checkmark EXCEPT for the namemapping entity.

 

i cannot seem to get the namemapping to commit. i've bounced testcomplete, rebooted my workstation. nothing works. has anyone else encountered this behavior? my source control is git/tortoisegit.

    You might want to check to see if the file is locked to someone else, which is preventing you from checking-in the file. Also try to use TortoiseGit, to perform the check-in.

      i'm not sure what happened or how it got resolved but i am no longer having this issue. just wanted to wrap up this post.
