aqFileSystem.GetFolderInfo Unable to open the folder

I'm trying to use GetFolderInfo with a network path .

This path works without a problem :  "\\\\officedata\\OfficeData\\OPC\\AppServer\\Apps\\TestAutomation\\ExportedResults\\"

however this path fails with an Unable to open the folder error 

                                                                 "\\\\officedata\\itdata\\Digital_Guardian\\Test Data\\nDLP-Testdata\\Regression_Test\\"

 

 

If I enter file:///\\\\officedata\\itdata\\Digital_Guardian\\Test Data\\nDLP-Testdata\\Regression_Test\\ into a browser see the files so I know the path is good and I have access.

    I wonder if this space is causing the problem

      That was my thought as well but I could not find any information on if spaces caused a problem in network paths. I would really help if TC put out a better error message as to what the problem is.

    I had a look around in Google and since you have the double quotes, evidently the space isn't the issue.

     

    I'm sure TC is just returning the message that goes with the Windows error code, so blame Windows for the poor explanation.  😉

     

    Can you get to \\\\officedata\\itdata\\Digital_Guardian

    without an error?
