i am trying to use safari 5.1.7 browser to work with web applications by testcomplete(9.3.1), i have installed safari testcomplete extension in safari browser and while i am executing the one scenario, it gives an error as"The WebKit2WebProcess.exe process crashed". while i am opening the safari browser then The WebKit2WebProcess.exe process is opened automatically ,this process is dispalyed in task manager, can you please suggest me,how to resolve this issue in testcomplete

Hi Santhoshi, I've found a similar issue report in our bug-tracking system. It looks like TestComplete 10 has overcome this issue. Could you please try using the latest TestComplete version to check whether the crash is reproduced in your case?

Hi Santhoshi, Such problem indeed exists in TC 9.31, but the crashed process is restarted automatically and I did not mention that the crash influences on anything except the record in the log. To prevent recording of this error to the log you can filter it out using OnLogError event handler (http://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/56948/)

Hi,

The code does work after getting the webprocees crash log in testcomplete logs and i have attached the log error event properly as in http://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/56932/, i am sending the testcomplete logs(screen shot) while executing a scenarios on web application, i found that web process crashed error posted to a log at the same time web page also refreshed that is the main problem here,can you please suggest me

What TestComplete version are you using? Have you tried TestComplete 10.30?

I don't see any known issues related to the Safari crash in TestComplete 10.2. You can contact our Support team to investigate this behavior.
