Verification Failed - Unable to create a user session on the remote computer

Hi,

I am having an issue with the verification process of the network suite- using TC v.9

I have the host computer fill from the network work.

I've tried IP instead of DNS.

i've also disable the firewall on the remote pc.

I know that its reaching the remote host, as I have logged into the report host via RDC and when TC verification takes place it disconnect my RDC session.

The user account is an administrator on that pc. also Password prompting under teh gpl license for remote access has been disable.

but i am still getting the verification fail.

any suggestion?

  • Found the problem and verified it.

    I've reset all settigns back with the exception of "Alway prompt for password upon connection" in the GPL > Admistrative Templates>Windows Components>Remote Desktop Services > Repmote Desktop Session host.

    and got the verification failed again.

    I've enable just the "Require User Authentication for Remote connection by using Network Level Authentication" , and disabled that.

    Firewall is re-enabled, and reverified and was sucessful

    this is for anyone having issue with this.

    Also note that the client is a Win 7
  • Hi Hoang,

    If your machine is displaying a legal caption and button, it can prevent the automated login. It can be switched off with the following registry changes:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]

    "LegalNoticeCaption"=-

    "LegalNoticeText"=-
  • hi, i have already identify the problem and had stated the solution above. we do not have any legal msg.
    the pc is tie to AD and uses domain/username.
    the above disable it at least thats what it looks like
