TestComplete working with controls

Hi,



Can you advise to what level TestComplete will work with Componentone controls? 


The main ones we have an interest in are trueDbGrid and flexGrid a Date control.



We are seeing conflicting information online about whether we should be able to ‘get into’ the grid controls in particular.

    Hi Steve,



    In general, you can work with any controls. If your application is recognized as Open, you always have access to internal properties and methods of any control in it, and you can use these properties/methods as you'd do inside an application containing this control.



    BTW, we have samples demonstrating how to work with True DBGrid and VSFlexGrid (see the Working With Grids help topic).
