TestComplete freezing while using it (building a scenario...)

Hi,

 

I just upgraded to 11.20 version of TC and TE.

 

Since de 11.10 version I have very long stops while TC is not responding to windows anymore.

Especially in TestedApps, or going into Scripts, Events or utsing autocompletion.

 

I have enough RAM I think and the local network, on with there is the project suite, is ok.

 

Any help would be much appreciated :)

    Hi m_essaid,

     

    I suppose you've updated TestComplete/TestExecute rather than reinstalling/installing the product, right?

    I would suggest that you remove the current TestComplete version from your computer, clear the installation folder (as a rule, it’s Program Files\SmartBear\TestComplete) and install v. 11.20 anew.

      ouch... I really don't have the time to desinstall/reinstall everything... 

      what about the licence key ?

        Don’t deactivate the license when uninstalling (you’ll be asked). In this case, TestComplete will catch the current license on start.
