TestComplete cannot record keyword driven tests

One TestComplete installation cannot record any user actions. We are trying to record activities from a web based application (using the edge browser). We have another TestComplete instance (same version), which is working fine. The keywords (actions and asserts) are recorded there. Which config items have an impact according to my described deviation/situation? Which configuration items i have to check at the computer client?

    The TestComplete plugin is available and avtice in the edge browser. We are not running the TestComplete tests with the chrome browser. Our chrome browser has no TestComplete extension.

    You might need to reinstall the SmartBear Test Extension again on Edge. I'm assuming you are using the latest version of TC and MS Edge?

     

    Ensure you have Web enabled.

    OK, I can do this tomorrow: this issue is on a computer which i have no access. The respective colleage will be available tomorrow. Thank you.

     

    We checked the versions of the edge plugin, which is the same in all 3 computers.
