TestComplete + Jira Script extension

I am using TestComplete Jira script extension where we can create Jira issue through TestComplete script .following the link

https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/testing-with/log/working-with/creating-issue-reports...

https://github.com/SmartBear/testcomplete-jira-extension

When I saw the issue in Jira - I found Under the Reporter - it show TestComplete . Is it expected ?

What is the requirement for Assignee ?

Jira.CreateNewBugData(....) . In this API i provided my email address and it throw the error - User does not exist.

Then I  provided another email address - which include our BA/QA Group and it work . So checking if there is requirement for Assignee ?

Please update

Thanks

Nishchal

Did you use the email that JIRA knows you by?

yes.

I would take a look at the JIRA permissions for the user/email that works and compare them to yours.

we need to know is there any restriction or permission for assignees ?

I don't see anything in the documentation about that, which is at the same links you posted.

I'm trying to help you troubleshoot it the same way that I would.

Another alternative is to contact support directly.  Here's the link:

Thank you Marsha for trying to help!

Hi @nisgupta. Were you able to solve this? Was this permission related?
