TestComplete 11.20 vs Chrome 46.0.2490.80 m(64-bit): Got error: Unsupported operating system.

Dear All,

 

I have updated TC to version 11.20, then when I tried to browser chrome object via Object Spy I got message as below.

 

"TestComplete Extendtion for Chrome: Unsupported operating system.

The extension does not function on Windows XP or Window Server 2003. To test web pages, use another browser, or run tests on another operating system."

 

My computer's information:

1- Windows 7 Profestional, SP 1

2- 64- bit Operating System

3- corei7 and 16GB

 

Does anybody get the same issue?

 

Please advise.

    Hi Anhvu,

     

    First of all, make sure that the SmartBear TestComplete Extension is installed and enabled in your Chrome: chrome://extensions/

    If this doesn’t help, I recommend that you report this issue to our TestComplete Customer Care Team ( http://support.smartbear.com/product-list/ ). Our R&D team may need to investigate it in detail.

      Thank you for replying. I don't use TC 11.20 now. I will report it in future if I use TC 11.20.

      Hello,

      The same problem was appeared (the same message),

      but our system is windows server 2012 r2.

      Was this problem resolved?

      What shoud we do?

        Do you see that the SmartBear TestComplete Extension is installed and enabled in Chrome? chrome://extensions/
