A little more detail would be helpful. What exactly are you doing and what exactly happens that is different from before?

What am I doing : opening Files, or adding a File,
What happens : it freezes and I need to terminate the application

What kind of file? Where is it stored? Is it on a shared drive? Does the user under which you're running TestComplete have full access (read/write/execute) to that drive folder? Is the file a small file/large file?
Lot's of details that can help someone reproduce your problem and help you diagnose. Please provide more detail. If it is simply adding a basic TXT file to stores, that's something else entirely and may require a message to the SmartBear technical support staff. However, if it's more complicated, we need more details.
