Sharing NameMpping for different languges

Hi, 

Anybody out there tried possibility of sharing name-mapping with two different projects in different languages.

Eg JScript and Python ?  

Is it possible?

What would be the pitfalls if possible ?

If not possible is there a some way to transfer name mapping information from one language to another? 

any thoughts even just theoretical assumption?

    Hi,

     

    Yes it is possible.

    I have tried a year back, As per my understanding It will work as the NameMapping doesn't related to any specific language.

    It is a kind of XML file, So i bet it will work irrespective of language.

     

    I haven't tried in-deep in this scenario so i can't tell you what would be the hidden facts in it.

      I'm with shankar_r... I've never tried it personally, but from my understanding, the contents and format of the NameMapping file is language independent.  You should be able to utilize the same NameMapping file across projects and across languages.
