Recording a new test - FF freezes and then TC hoses

Using the latest version of TC 11.20.1491.7

Using the latest version of FF 42.0

According to this link no patches are needed for FF 42.0

 

When recording a new test, I take my mouse and immediately move it to the open FF window. Immediately FF freezes up and then shortly TC freezes up. Screenshot below. What am I doing wrong?

    This was fixed by doing the following. SB support helped me on this.

     

    open FF and type in about:config

    set layers.offmainthreadcomposition.to false

    set layers.acceleration.disabled to true

     

    Posting in case this helps someone.

    Rebooted machine and attempted to record a new test again. Same result this morning. I don't know what is different from prior recordings to cause this problem. I did install TC on a new standalone PC but that shouldn't matter. Help!
