Process("firefox") not Browser("firefox")
I have TestComplete version 14.30.3743.7 x64, Firefox version 68.4.2esr(64bit); within the Object Browser Process("firefox") and not Browser("firefox").
I've read the previous post on this subject, went out to the Smartbear site, installed the applicable patches and still have this issue.
Any advice on what I need to do next would be greatly appreciated.

Are you licensed for Web tests? The "Browser" method off of Sys is not recognized without a Web license.

Why automate? I do automated testing because there's only so much a human being can do and remain healthy. Sleep is a requirement. So, while people sleep, automation that I create does what I've described above in order to make sure that nothing gets past the final defense of the testing group.

We've purchased a TestComplete license. Is there something in particular I need to run Web tests?

TestComplete is licensed based upon types of applications you will be testing. If you have a Desktop license, you can create tests for desktop applications. If you have a Web license, you can create tests for Web applications. You CAN license both as well.
If you go to Help -> About, your license option there should indicate what your license includes.

I see what you are talking about.
Currently, mine is saying: "License: Perpetual" I believe it should say: "License: Perpetual (Web)".
Thanks for your help.

Correct. Mine says "License: Perpetual (Desktop, Web)" because I'm licensed for both. Not sure what it would say for only being licensed one way or the other but that's where I'd first start the investigation. Work with your sales guy who sold you the license to see what you have.

Hi,
> Work with your sales guy [...]
To speed things up, you may navigate to your Customer Portal (https://my.smartbear.com/) and check what license you have.

I smartbear community,
I have the same problem and my test complete licence include the desktop and web application.
I don't have the problem with iexplore, chrome and edge. Just with firefox.
Firefox version : 73.0.1
Testcomplete version : 14.20.2175.7
Thanks,

@Roy_Florian
TestComplete 14.20 does not include support for Firefox version 73. I checked the patch site (https://support.smartbear.com/downloads/testcomplete/firefox-patches/) and there currently isn't a patch to support Firefox version 73 for 14.20. However, if you have an appriopriate support agreement with SmartBear, an upgrade from 14.20 to 14.30 should be free to do at which point you can install the appropriate patch for that version of Firefox. This, I believe, is your best way forward.
If, however, you don't want to upgrade your TestComplete version, then your next course of action is to contact SmartBear support and see if they can supply you with a patch for Firefox 73 for TC 14.20.
